Merry Christmas... 3.43

So I came home from work about 9 ish or so, maybe 9:30, maybe 9:15...lets just leve it at 9 ish. Willam was asleep as quiet as a mouse. Or maybe not so much, maybe perhaps a little snoring, maybe. So I woke his ass up and reminided him that it was Christmas eve. So we grabbed a beer and started cleaning. For those of you that I dont alk to on a daily slash multi-daily basis, I have invited my parents over for breakfast for Christmas morning, and this is a big thing for me since I havent had them over sinceI first moved here four years ago. This is due to many of reasons, mainly of which is that they mostly have lived locally and I ahve gone there, but now tings are different and they are in-town from Maryland. Which is quite a drive, like an inch or so on the atlas.
Willy and I spent a grand three(thousand) hours or so cleaning the apartment to be parent-ready. Status is now green as go. 3-2-1 bring them folks in!!!!! I'm very excited about this, I have planned a very full breakfast with drinks-a-plenty from the morning slash afternoon.
The bottom line.: Christmas is here, and I am ready, bring it baby, bring it!

P.S.(Post Script) - Willy shot a 3.43 MPR againts me tonight at darts. We went out for a beer and a shot then a ber then another beer and one more beer. 3.43 is a remarkable round of darts. Go Willy. weeeeeeeeeeeee. And go me for letting him win. Hey its Christmas!!!!

Baby its cold outside.

Man it got cold real fast lately. Poor Jeep had a bit of a fight to start. Nikki's car didnt start, and there people asking for jumps all over the place. My list of blogs to read daily is now to 13, sheees its alot. An old friend of mine started one today, maybe yesterday I'm not sure.

I think its so cool that she found me online. People often wonder why I have accounts on AIM, MSN, Yahoo!, and ICQ. Its because I have a friend or two on each, mostly AIM though. Thankfully I have a program that allows me to use all five connections(including IRC) at once with one buddy list. Abigail found me through ICQ which I dont use nearly as much as I use MSN and AIM, so when I received a IM from ICQ I was surprised, and very pleasantly to say the least. Abigail and I met about 8 years ago during a summer camp in the Rockies. I was there for five weeks on a service crew deal where I worked there about 50% of the time, and enjoyed the outdoors the rest. After the camp we sent letters (snail mail beleive it or not) for quite a while until '97 ish and lost contact and what not. Probably my fault, I cant remeber. I love the way the internet allows me to keep in touch with friends and family so easily.

I also love the way my keyboard glows with the backlit keys :) I'm a geek.

After a bit of horse play(maybe alot) they did get along good. I was worried it would go much worse but it went great. Charlie is a good cat yes he is.

Peterson given Death penalty.

Well I'm watching CNN.com's jury press conference and Beavis and Butthead on the other monitor. This press conference has been going on a while now, I'm nto sure how long exatly, I didnt start watching at the very bieginng. I didnt realize a verdict had been past till my Mom mentioned it.

I can't image being involved ina case such as this one and not being able to talk to anyone about if for 6 months. Thats a damn long time to shut yourself off from everyone else about the one thing going on in your day to day life.

This is soo Cool

Okay, most of you that talk to me at all, know about Half Life 2, the new comptuer game. When I talk about it I rant and rave about the graphics and the realism in the game itself.

I was surfing the web and came across this really intresting ting going on. Some dude came up with an idea to photograph the scenery in the game, just cause it looks that good. The post lead to a huge(thousands) of people trying it out and thus a new kind of photography has been made.

There is a competition going on now that I just found.

Here is the link to it. All the images that have been submitted are from actaul gameplay and have not been edited with software(ie: photoshop) at all. I'm still looking at the submissions, but the ones by '4est' and 'Wolfhood' are my favorites so far. Go check out a couple, you'll be surprised at what you see, the game looks reallllly good.

Hung up some Christmas lights tonight too. Going to grab some more hopefully.

Right about now

Right about now I'm deciding wether or not to fix Willy's computer AGAIN. In case you havent noticed he doesnt post on his blog very much, let alone be online like he used to.
So now I'm wondering if I should go and fix his computer again or not. The way I see it he doesnt play games, and doesnt do anything really productive on his computer. Then again nor do I, but I love doing stuff like this and chatting with peeps on my computer. I've done alot since he's moved in to help him with his out-dated computer. The way I see it, its time for him to buck up ad get a new one if he reall wants a computer.

Well Seans back home today, last night we hung out till about 6 am I think, I'm not sure I wasnt looking at the clock. But if I did, it may ahve said 6am....ish.

Dumb commercial

Okay this is just bugging me, so I'm just going to say it. The new AOL commercials are completely 100% dumb. They are making a huge huge deal out of giving AOL users anti-virus software. weeeeeee. There are so many free utilities out there for people to keep there system clean. I personally use Sybot Search and Destroy, Lavasoft's Adaware, and two anti-virus programs. All free.

Its just so weird to see AOL using free anti-virus software as a marketing ploy, when anyone who is on the net much at all, or anyone that knows a geek like me, know they can get it free anyway.

BLah had to get it out. Maybe I'm too much of a geek or uber or l337 or whatever the kids call it these days.

Oh yeah, that cat-thing is Charlie, a cat, not cat-thing, a cat. Sheees.

Loooooong Weekend!!!

Well its 3 o-clock ish and I jsut woke up. Yea alot worse than normal, it is becuase I got about 4 hours of sleep the past two days and work ten hour days at work. I was tired.

As many of you know Sean is in town, and since hes only in town till Wednesday we have been staying up very late messing around and catching up. So I ahve some pictures I'm going to post after I write this little tid-bit.

Also some really cool news. Sean has asked me to be his best man at his wedding next September. This is really cool, I was surprised he choose me, and I'm very hapy he did. No all I gotta do is not choke when I ahve to do the cheers thing at the reception.
