Job update

So I'm in my third week of my new job as Assistant General Manager at Bazil's in Henrietta. It's funny to say but now that I work in the "Front of the House" of the restuarant for the first time ever, I have a new respect so to speak for the servers and hosts. But they sure can be a pain in my butt.

When I first started this new position I was more worried about talking to customers than I was being the new 'boss' of all of the staff. I was wrong. The servers cause me headaches on a nearly nightly basis with their ranting about each other about the same thing over and over and over.

I am really enjoying my new job alot though, I having a lot of fun learning tons of new stuff on a daily basis. I'm wearing real clothes now, trying to learn how to iron my shirts. There are plenty of colourful words that excape my mouth when I try to iron, it is not fun. Last week I actually just took my work shirts and pants to the cleaners to let them deal with the ironing. Screw that crap!

Oh did I mention that I have buisness cards now? Pretty cool eh?

I have this strange obsession with ironing. I iron all of my clothes. Even t-shirts. I can't help it. And, I have to iron everyday. I can't iron them all and put them in the closet for the week. I have to iron each outfit everyday. You know? It's got to be fresh.

Stange, isn't it?

Can I have a business card?

Nah it isn't strange. I would consider doing the same thing if I could figure out the damn thing.

Of course you can have a buisness card dude!

maybe sean can give you a lesson in ironing when we're back...

he really does iron. He irons more than I do. If I can get away with not ironing something, I will! Not him - he is always in the room ironing at night. Crazy son of a bitch :)

I am with Christine on that one, if I can get away with it - GREAT! When I was having to iron my shirts for Wegmans, it sucked - but stick with it, it gets better!

So, can I get a card?

Ironing sucks, but you get the hang of it after about 50 years of trying.

Glad to hear things are going well.
