My Internet

This is something pretty interesting I stumbled uon this morning that I wanted to share with everyone.

Evidently there's this thing called Net Neutrality. It is the princible that we can surf whatever we choose to on the internet. For example, use whatever search engine we want. According to what I've red so far, which is not alot, congress is not putting any emphasis on this 'law' thingy. What could happen if Net Neutrality is not pushed by congress is that your ISP (eg. Time Warner) could block access to Google, and divert you to use Yahoo. They would do this because Yahoo may form a contractual agreement with Time Warner so they both make some more cash. This could also effect the internet based phone companies as well since many ISP's are developing there own VOIP programs.

Basically to my understanding is that corperations could be taking control of where you surf if this 'First Internet Amendment' isn't passed. I don't doubt that I'm making alot of sense here. Here is a link to more info.

My day off

Today was so nice out. So I did some laundry about noon and ended up home about 5:30pm. When I was doing my laundry I walked around the surrounding neighborhoods and took pictures of flowers that had finally made up their minds to bloom.

After I finished laundry I decided to drive down to Cobbs Hill. There I walked around for a while taking pictures of ducks and more flowers and stuff. I posted a bunch of pictures to look at. I think my favorite is one with the yellow flowers and the blue sky behind them.

My Friends

I just wanted to make a shout out to my friends. This past week I was without my Jeep or a few days and it was so nice to ahve my friends able to help me out with rides and offering to do so the whole time. Sean offered to pick me up from work to bring out to the bar and spot me! Friends from work offered to give me lifts everyday. I don't know what I would do without you all! Thanks for your help.

My love for Ninja's

Yea I'm quirky. I've always enjoyed ninja stuff, movies with martial arts, and anime with ninjas. Ninjas just are cool. I have a ninja embroidered on two of my chef jackets. Its so cool.

My friend from work told me about this site, I though some of you would enjoy it.
