Cooking vs. Computers

So as many of you know I have many interests, and I'm ahving a difficult time choosing what I want to do, and it is a decision that is way overdue. now the decision hasnt been made up yet but I thought of something interesting the other day.

Wouldnt it be wierd if snow fell upwards instead of falling? That would be neat.

Also, I though about books concerning both of the interests. You will find amny books helping people learn how to cook in many different styles that reflect on the culture and tastes of many different regions around the world. When it comes to comptuers there is one way to do things. You can find books on cooking by reputable authors and chefs talking about the act of cooking with passion and feeling and love. You wont find a book on computers, wether it be programming or application how-to that shares the passion invloved with cooking. Just a thought I had after seeing my friend Tim in the bookstore the other day.

What is snow fell upwards and fell at the same time....then you can spin yourself around until you fell over dizy and you wouldnt know what way was up when you opened your eyes!!! That would be fun!

Ever think about opening your own place? Imaging a "starbucks-like" place with wireless capability in restuarant or dinner. Have breakfest and lunch -- then maybe a coffess shop at night.

There may be a neat formula here -- a coffee shop with good food. Like a Panera that is wireless.

I've thought about a internet cafe type of thing. The start-up cost would be throught the roof though for all the hardware. Wireless is a good idea but existing places of buisness are simply adding it to there place. Then again I dont see amny wireless, or internet cafe places here in Rochester.

We could estimate the costs. The real challenge is finding a location that would be good -- parking, convenient location, etc.

I remember the start up phase of Maggies. It wasn't bad -- just a lot of work. They had to find baking equipment (remember going to Denver to haul a buch of stuff to Fort Collins?).

Starting up Maggies was a great experience to be apart of. Not that I did a whole lot, but I saw it all come together.
